Preparing international students for the American classroom

Here’s a great summertime (or any time) opportunity for non-English-speaking students who are planning to study in the U.S. for the first time. Oak Meadow’s ESOL: English for the American Classroom is designed for students who want to polish their English reading, writing and speaking skills to help them be better prepared for their new classroom experience. This course presents the English language through the lens of U.S. culture, cultural history, and national identity, and allows students to practice skills that are typically expected in American schools. It can be customized to meet each student’s needs and time schedule. The 12-week non-credit course includes 24 Skype lessons with our experienced and dynamic World Languages teacher, Sara Molina. Students need to complete a new student application to get stated: New Student Application.
