Our Pledge
At Oak Meadow, it's our goal to provide you and your children with an educational experience that will be profoundly beneficial and deeply satisfying. If you experience any problem with your curriculum or enrollment, if your circumstances have changed, or if the program does not meet your expectations, please let us know. We pledge to work with you in an effort to make it right. With this in mind, we have provided some guidelines that will help in this process and facilitate an agreeable resolution.
Curriculum-Only Returns (for families who are not enrolled in our school)
When your curriculum arrives, plan to set aside time to look through everything carefully. Make sure that your order is complete and accurate, that the curriculum is what you expected, and that you feel confident it will work well for you and your children. You have a 30-day evaluation period after your curriculum arrives to examine it carefully and determine if it is the right fit for you and your children. If you have any concerns during this period, call or email us so we can answer your questions or discuss the options available to you.
If you decide during this 30-day period that you wish to return any of your course materials, we'll give you a full refund of your purchase price if the materials are in like-new condition. We don't refund shipping and handling charges. To return your curriculum, you must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) from the office (call or email us). We must receive your curriculum within two weeks of issuing this number. Delaying the return of your materials will jeopardize your refund. Detailed instructions regarding how to package and ship your returned materials will be provided to you with your RMA number.
Tuition Refunds (for families enrolled in our school)
Many families find distance education to be a new and sometimes unfamiliar approach to learning. We want to provide sufficient time for you to explore this method and be sure it is a good fit for your family. To facilitate this, you are expected to begin the Oak Meadow program on your Start Date, completing one lesson per week and submitting two lessons to your teacher every two weeks. This will provide time for your Oak Meadow teacher to engage with you and your child, review their work, and provide feedback. We offer a 60-day evaluation period from your Start Date to evaluate the distance learning experience.
During this period, if you feel that it would be best for your family to pursue another educational approach, please call the office and speak to one of our Enrollment Counselors. Your Enrollment Counselor will work with you to discuss your options, which may include a change in grade level, teacher re-assignment, withdrawal from the school and homeschooling with the curriculum, or withdrawing from the school and returning the curriculum.
Should you decide that withdrawal is the best course, refunds of tuition will be made as follows:
If you have made full payment — and withdraw within 60 days, we will refund the full tuition you paid, less a 20% allowance for enrollment and educational processing fees.
If you are enrolled in the payment plan — and withdraw within 60 days, we will refund the initial payment(s), less a 30% allowance for enrollment and educational processing fees.
If you decide to withdraw from the school and keep the curriculum materials, or if the materials are not in new condition, we will deduct the full price of the curriculum materials from your refund.
